Ed founded Stargazer to help good people make an impact. With 10 years experience in software, he can see opportunities and recommend the simplest path to achieve outcomes. Having spent three years building an engineering team within a non-profit, he knows your constraints — the budget limitations, the lean staff, the "MVP" that has to keep working long after the project wraps. Ed is also an adjunct professor of Economics and Innovation at Missouri S&T, where he trains students to bring their ideas to reality through understanding their customer.

Cooper is Stargazer's Founding Engineer and Director of R&D. He's worked across data, infrastructure, and product for over a decade — he founded the data department at a venture-backed startup, and cut a company's cloud costs by 85% with a single redesign. For nonprofit work, he cares most about one thing: that what he builds is something your team can run on its own after the engagement ends — no vendor lock-in, no black boxes, nothing that needs a consultant on retainer to keep alive.
